Tinton Wood Shop

The Tinton Wood Shop has been a vital employment option for individuals served by NHTC for over 30 yearsSome individuals have been working in the wood shop for over 25 years and wouldn’t trade it for any other job in the worldThe wood shop produces goods for many different contractors and businesses around the Black HillsThese same businesses comment on our quality and ability to turn around products quicklyThe wood shop provides employment opportunities for 12 individuals and 4 employees.

The Copper Door

Throughout NHTC’s history, we have relied heavily on our community for supportWe would not be where we are today without the support of the many businesses and individuals that have helped NHTC complete our mission, vision and valuesIn 2021, NHTC created “The Copper Door” to not only provide employment opportunities for individuals receiving services, but to showcase and promote locally made products of the individuals and businesses in the Spearfish and surrounding communitiesStop by our store at 625 Harvard Street to see the many local goods available for purchase that helps support NHTC financially and through hands-on experience operating a local community business. 

Treasures Thrift Store

Finding it’s home in Spearfish’s old movie theatre, Treasures Thrift Store was created in 2008 and has been meeting and exceeding the thrifting needs of locals looking for thrifting treasuresTreasures Thrift Store is completely donation based and provides employment opportunities to individuals by sorting, cleaning, pricing and selling treasures to its patronsAll funds generated by the thrift store are paid to the employees and supports the overhead operating costsTreasures Thrift Store employs 6 individuals and three employees.

Treasures Thrift Store Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm/ Saturday: 9:30am- 3:00pm
Donations accepted during store hours.
