Tinton Wood Shop
The Tinton Wood Shop has been a vital employment option for individuals served by NHTC for over 30 years. Some individuals have been working in the wood shop for over 25 years and wouldnât trade it for any other job in the world. The wood shop produces goods for many different contractors and businesses around the Black Hills. These same businesses comment on our quality and ability to turn around products quickly. The wood shop provides employment opportunities for 12 individuals and 4 employees.
The Copper Door
Throughout NHTCâs history, we have relied heavily on our community for support. We would not be where we are today without the support of the many businesses and individuals that have helped NHTC complete our mission, vision and values. In 2021, NHTC created âThe Copper Doorâ to not only provide employment opportunities for individuals receiving services, but to showcase and promote locally made products of the individuals and businesses in the Spearfish and surrounding communities. Stop by our store at 625 Harvard Street to see the many local goods available for purchase that helps support NHTC financially and through hands-on experience operating a local community business.Â
