POSITION:                     Medical Services Assistant

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Provide assistance obtaining medical services for people supported.

MSA Job duties include:

• Provide transportation to and from medical appointments
• Prepare medical services records prior to appointments
• Communicate with health care providers as needed
• Obtain completed medical services records from the health care provider and relay those records to the NHTC nurses
• Order medications and/or other medical supplies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Must be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

HOURS:        Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

WAGES:        $12.25/hour
