Northern Hills Training Center

We believe there is a "Purpose in Everyone" both for the individuals we serve and for our direct support professionals.
Direct Support Professional with a person they are serving

The Northern Hills Training Center was created to provide programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Northern Black Hills area of South Dakota. The aim is to offer assistance in the least restrictive environment possible.

Our philosophy is based on the belief that the people we support…

  • Have human and legal rights that they do not have to work for or earn;
  • Have responsibilities that are an inherent part of their rights; and
  • Have the right to receive the support and services they need to live in the community.
