Northern Hills Training Center has been providing services and support to people with developmental disabilities for 33 years. As a result of this experience we have some of the best team members in the business today. We offer a comprehensive benefit package to our full-time employees and limited benefits to our part-time employees. All Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, or equivalent, have a valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and must pass a background investigation.
Skilled Direct Support Professionals are paramount to delivering high quality services. DSP's must be able to:
- Explore options and resources for helping individuals reach their desired goals.
- Provide services using a person-centered approach.
- Work cooperatively as a member of a service team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and supportive atmosphere.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Use a computer to complete daily work-related documentation.
